Surgical Instrument Repair
Van Sickle provides expert repair services for our surgical instrument customers,
including hand-held instruments purchased from other manufacturers.
These services are extended only to our regular instrument customers.
WHAT WE DO: Instruments are thoroughly inspected upon receipt. Under magnification, we look for possible defects that are not visible to the naked eye. Services include sharpening, re-serrating, and adjusting scissors; realigning teeth and replacing carbide inserts in forceps and needle holders; replacing screws and springs when weak or broken.
Before returning instruments to customers, we also ultrasonically clean them to remove any possible residual debris.
REPLACEMENT SERVICE: Instruments that are beyond repair, or those that cannot be repaired economically, can be conveniently replaced with new duplicate patterns at discounted prices to avoid interruption of surgical use.
